Permanent Residents at HyTyme

Coal and Masquerade

This special pair insisted on being photed together as they would not separate.

It was decided that when they came to HyTyme they were just too old to be rehomed and that HyTyme would become their forever home.

The Youth Volunteers at HyTyme use these two for training.

Coal especially likes to have a job. He enjoys being used for lessons and training by the kids here at HyTyme.

Coal was a pony jumper in his younger days.

If you would like to sponsor Coal or Masquerade please email Ashley for more info.

Diedre

Diedre came to HyTyme before it became a rescue. She was about 3 years of age. She is now an old gal and has been semi retired. She spends her days keeping the rescue horses company.

Iris

Iris came to HyTyme very thin and abused. She is improving every day but she has a long way to go. She has trust issues with people. She comes to the barn to see what is going on but she wants no one to touch her. She has started eating grain out of someone's hand. For Iris that is a big accomplishment. We just want Iris to be comfortable and hopefully with time she will learn to trust people again.

If you would like to sponsor Iris please email Ashley for more info.

Katie Mae

Katie Mae was rescued by HyTyme in March of 1999 before HyTyme officially became a horse rescue. All the youth volunteers just love her. She does not seem to mind, no matter how many kids climb aboard Katie Mae just stands patiently. Click here for more info about Katie Mae.

Olivia

Olivia is a shetland mule who chose to live at HyTyme. As she can get through almost any fence, she just showed up one day and has never left.

She can kick twice as fast as the horses so she can hold her own in the pasture quite well.

Lyrick

Lyrick came to HyTyme because she needed a good home. All the volunteers at HyTyme just love her. She is so sweet , smart, easy to work with and she has lots of patience.
